In a significant move, India has designated Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF) and Ghaznavi Force as terrorist organizations under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. The Indian government has also declared Harwinder Singh Sandhu, a key member of KTF, as a terrorist.
The decision was made after the Indian security agencies provided credible evidence of the involvement of KTF and Ghaznavi Force in various terrorist activities, including the recent grenade attacks in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to sources, the KTF, a pro-Khalistan group, has been involved in several terrorist incidents in Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir. The Ghaznavi Force, which is believed to have links with Jaish-e-Mohammed, is also responsible for carrying out several terrorist attacks in the region.
The government’s decision to designate these groups as terrorist organizations will help in curbing their activities and taking legal action against their members. The move is expected to strengthen India’s fight against terrorism and safeguard the country’s security and sovereignty.
