Mini Sikh Museum established in Singhu

Parwinder Singh, one of the few Sikh sculptures that has spread Sikh history through a museum created by him in the Balongi district of Mohali, has established a mini museum today, near the central stage of the Singhu border.
“Our history is filled with courage and martyrdom. I came here with some statues to make young people aware of the Sikh heritage,” says Parwinder Singh.
Parwinder Singh, who is a scooter mechanic by profession, said that the statues of Bhai Mati Das, Baba Deep Singh, Bhai Sati Das and four Sahibzadas had been set up in a mini museum visited by hundreds of farmers today.
He said there were 70 statues in his museum in Balongi, but it wasn’t possible to bring all of them here. “My aim is to set up a museum on the lines of the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in London. I’ve been trying to do my best from a limited source of income,” he added.
